  • Account information: name, email address, and password
  • Server instance data: server names, configuration settings, and API keys
  • Player data: Steam64 IDs, in-game names, session times, positions, and gameplay statistics as reported by your DayZ server mod
  • Command history: commands sent through the Service and their execution status
  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, and API request logs

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide and maintain the Service, including command execution and player tracking
  • Authenticate your identity and manage your account
  • Generate analytics, metrics, and heatmap visualizations for your servers
  • Process subscription billing and manage your plan
  • Improve the Service and develop new features
  • Communicate important updates about the Service

3. Player Data

CommandRelay processes player data from your DayZ servers, including Steam64 IDs, in-game names, positions, and gameplay statistics. This data is collected by the server mod you install and transmitted to our Service via your configured API endpoint. You are responsible for informing your server's players about this data collection as required by applicable laws.

4. Data Storage and Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) for all API communication, hashed passwords, and scoped API tokens. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Command history retention varies by subscription tier (7 days for Free, 30 days for Pro, 365 days for Enterprise). Upon account deletion, we will remove your personal data within a reasonable timeframe, subject to legal obligations.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data only in the following circumstances:

  • With service providers who assist in operating the Service (hosting, billing)
  • When required by law or to respond to legal process
  • To protect the rights, safety, or property of CommandRelay or its users

7. API Tokens and Keys

API tokens and server API keys are sensitive credentials. We store them securely and display full token values only once at creation. You are responsible for keeping your tokens and keys confidential. Compromised credentials should be regenerated immediately through the dashboard.

8. Cookies and Local Storage

We use essential cookies for session management and authentication. We also use browser local storage to remember your dark mode preference. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Export your data in a portable format
  • Object to or restrict certain processing of your data

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on the Service or sending an email to your registered address. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
